I grew up in the highlands of Scotland and have always been fascinated by humans and how we connect to one another.
I started Well Grounded Counselling because I wanted to provide a space where I could combine my skills as a coach and therapist to help women who are experiencing relationship anxiety and stress!
"Why?" I hear you ask...
Because I understand the confusion and emotional highs and lows of relationship anxiety - because I’ve experienced them myself. By taking ownership of my emotional health, I learned to trust myself and build the healthy, fulfilling relationship I have today.
In fact I decided to train as a therapist because working on my own emotional health had a profound impact on my relationships and overall confidence.
Fast forward to today, and I have helped countless women to feel less stressed and anxious regarding their relationship or finding a partner. Love, attachment, and intimacy are all common triggers for buried fears, past traumas, and self-esteem issues.
& I help women overcome this!
